She works along with teachers to make the adaptation process to a new schooling experience more exiting! To do so, Laura implements in-class studying centers were she focuses on building the reading and writing skills that our first graders need to succeed in years to come.
Melissa Solórzano (Special Ed BA), who works with the 2nd and 3rd graders. She runs the Read Naturally Program and does cooperative teaching in some of the 3rd grade classes, working with strategies such as: small group activity, reading circles, etc. She also works on apprehending and strengthening the basic literacy skills needed to learn a second language by working on one to one interventions.
